I have been fortunate enough to gain an acceptance this cycle but am still waiting to hear back from a couple other schools. I have sent updates to these schools including a promotion I had at my volunteer position. I was walking to the physician I volunteer with and she offered to write me a LOR because my 6 LORs were 2 research, 3 academic, and 1 personal/academic. I have been volunteering with her for over a year and I think she would be able to write a strong letter that can reflect on my service which wasnt really present in the other letter im assuming. Do you think this letter will be impactful at all? Last cycle I got an additional LOI from my PI (I nad no prior lab experience) and received an II 2 weeks latter but I think that may have been a coincidence.
