I have considered the possibility that I may have adult ADD. I think it might be a good time to go see a physician regarding this possibility after school gets out this year. I just have some concerns about this:

1. Can they actually tell for certain whether I have ADD or not? Or is it pretty subjective?

2. Is it actually worth going on medication if I have ADD? As far as side effects etc. Anyone want to share their experience of starting a medication for ADD in medical school?

Thanks.

There are a bunch of tests they can do to evaluate your attention span. This is what they did with me, and it took several visits, and it was very thorough.

Or some places will just take your word for it, give you meds, and ask you to be the judge.
