Bitter much? Don't be. There is a certain degree of randomness in the selection process. It's a common experience to easily get in one great school but get rejected by another equally great school. A rejection says nothing about one as a person.
In Baltimore's defense, it's not the greatest city in the world, but it has some charms. It's inexpensive to live here, there are great cultural events, and surprise surprise, fun places to hang out. The only truly disappointing thing is the lack of coffee and tea shops. Location is important, but don't let that be the only deciding factor. I may not be totally in love with Baltimore (yet), but I am so glad I'm here because of the quality of teaching, clinical exposure, and my awesome classmates.
Good luck to you all!
