Advanced notice of leave

Wasn't sure where else to post this, but for those attendings who are in Pediatric Urgent Care (or just UC in general), how much leave do you have to give your medical director before quitting your job? At least in primary care, some places required 3 months notice. Was wondering if it is shorter in Urgent Care. Thanks!

From their perspective - as much as possible. 3-6 months would be nice. A few weeks would generally be too little.

check your contract and give what is required

Unless there is something going on that puts your life or license in immediate jeopardy you should give whatever notice is required by your contract.

Thanks but I'm not currently in Urgent Care. I was just wondering what other people's contracts stated.
