Hello all, over the past few days, i've noticed a surge of threads on sdn, let's get those apps done!

This is probably a stupid question, but how do I enter in Advanced Placement classes (how did you guys enter it?)

How do I enter one that shows up on my transcript as attempted, but I did not get any credit for it, because i did not score high enough?

I couldn't find anything on AADSAS that shows attempted coursework, but no grade, no nothing that goes with it (not even credit - it just says 'attempted' - which i did, but no option for how many credits earned).

If you have seen the way it's set up, and have taken AP classes, you probably know what I mean. And also, under which section did you put the AP's under?

Anybody have the same problem?

thanks!

I'll answer parts of your question that I think I know the answer to -- For those AP courses that you did not receive credit for b/c your score was not high enough, I don't think you need to include that in the AADSAS (you can just ignore it for reporting purposes). I'm not exactly sure what you mean about "which section did you put the AP's under"...do you mean which semester do you include the AP's? If that's your question, then you're supposed to list AP's in the semester that they appeared on your transcript -- Some people say that it comes up in their first semester, others had it come up in their second semester... For me, my AP's were listed on my transcript before any of my college semester grades, so I just put it under "Interim" when filling out AADSAS. Just do your best job...I don't think it's a big deal if you don't do something 100% right, b/c the AADSAS people will audit it when they get your transcript and make any corrections if necessary. I know a lot of people on this forum might suggest that you call up AADSAS if you have any questions about the application whatsoever, but my experience has shown me that AADSAS representatives are worthless (in my case at least). I got different answers from different reps for the same question from AADSAS reps.

Hope that helps 🙂

Hey, thanks partner!

I found you post very informative! I think your right, I'm not going to include the AP that I did not score high enough, and as for the AP's showing up on my transcript - they actually do. (I didn't realize it!)

Thanks again Money! 😉
