I recognize that all of these prompts mean different things. But especially when people ask how it has defined you, or how you have grown from it, all of these sort of blend together to look the same.
For my failure essay - I wrote I failed to give proper follow up for a patient who had been to the ED. I rectified the situation but I lost confidence. I subsequently gained experience by working with various student orgs and by volunteering.

My Challenge Essay - I moved to another country when I was 9 and as a result had to learn different languages. I lived there for nearly 10 years and during this time I questioned my identity.

I want to use one of these for my adversity essay, but I am not sure how. The first focuses on a situation where I failed but also how it has changed and improved me.

The second is not an example in a healthcare setting and was important when I was very young but is a defining moment in my life. I now know nearly 4 languages.

Can my failure essay substitute for challenge, especially when people ask for challenges in a healthcare setting/ unexpected criticism?

And which one of these would be more suitable for adversity?
