hi all:)

i've decided to go ahead and retake my MCATs in august... are they supposed to be harder or anything? is there any comparision to the April ones (aside from supposedly being similar)?

any advice on how to study again or how to approach it this time? thanks!

The aug. MCAT is not harder in terms of content. It is just harder to do well in because it is scored based on how everyone else does. You are taking it with people who have been doing nothing but studying for it all summer.
In april, most people study for the MCAT as well as taking other classes.
My advice...Do lots of practice problems and practice timing.

Start studying immediately. I took two August MCATs and this one past April. I did much better on the April one, and I must say, the August ones seemed tougher. And like the previous post said, you're going against people with a bunch of free time. Good luck.
