Hey guys! I'm new here and (obviously) I would really like to get into Pharmacy School. As of right now, I'm still a freshman and I'm trying to take all of the prerequisites for pharm school. What other things should I do? I'm already in a pharmaceutical research lab and I plan on volunteering at the school's pharmacy? I know I'm lacking in the club/honoraries department. Will that be okay? Well I really would like to increase my chances!! Thanks 🙂

I wouldn't worry too much about the clubs/honoararies unless there's something that really interests you in terms of extracurricular. Your doing really good with the reasearch lab gig which would definitely set you apart.

The best thing you can do is to try and get a job in a pharmacy if you can now so you could gain experience and get your feet in the waters. Once you get accepted -> you'll become an intern and won't have to deal with obtaining an intern position if your state license requires intern hours outside of pharmacy school.

Also keep asking yourself if pharmacy is really what you want because the whole pharmacy shortages does not remain true as it used to. Your gonna have to do more than just get good grades in order to separate yourself and secure a future for yourself. Good luck.

by the time you are applying, the door for pharmacy schools will be even wider than now. You should be fine
