😳 I KNOW this is definately annoying to always see and deal with and I have tried to avoid making a thread like this... but I am seeking advice as to whether to apply this cycle or not...
I keep debating and could really use some other opinions from other pre-dents and people that are familiar with the whole process... as opposed to family let's say lol
My undergrad stats are:
overall GPA: 3.40
science GPA: 3.30
non-science: 3.79
bio/chem/phys: 2.67
DAT: 20/20/20 and 25 RC
(By the beginning of August these numbers will go up slightly and BCP ~ 2.82)
I know my BCP is lacking and have enrolled in a 1 year Masters (SMP) this fall to help that and show my capabilities...
I have volunteer work, shadowing, sports and other community involvement, should have decent LOR and personal statement
My question is whether or not to try to apply or if you think it is truly a waste of time and money...
But if I do have somewhat of a chance... I do not want to miss that either! I would really love to start dental school right after Masters
Thoughts please?
Thank you very much in advance
BTW, I am Canadian
