Hey everyone! I've been waitlisted at 5 schools so far, so what do you think the odds are that I get into one? The schools are Carroll, St. Scholastica, Indiana State, St. Ambrose, and MGH Institute. I've interviewed with 3 of them, so I'm kinda bummed I've been waitlisted. I still haven't gotten an acceptance yet, so it's been driving me crazy! Is there anything I should do aside from emailing back saying that I am interested in being on the waitlist? Thanks!

I am waitlisted at St. Ambrose too, and if you ask they will tell you exactly what number you're at on the waitlist. They also told me I can check periodically with them to see if the list has moved.

Stay patient, email them asking if they could tell you where you fall numerically on their waitlist, and ask if they commonly pull from the waitlist. Maybe even ask when those accepted have until to confirm or deny their spot, this way you'll have a better idea of when you should hear back. I'm in the same boat, I've been waitlisted at Carroll and St. Ambrose. The waiting is killing me because I just want to plan. But like I said, just be patient. It'll all work out 🙂

I was waitlisted in December of 2015. I emailed them every couple months to see if there had been any movement on the waitlist (and to subtly express my continued interest....). They kept telling me there was no movement on the list (which I think was true) and that most changes occur in the summer. I started to lose hope, made other plans, and stopped emailing them. That June, I got an email that I had been accepted off the waitlist. I was so shocked that I forgot to be excited. But after about 2 minutes, I was jumping up and down. Keep your hopes high!! There are plenty of waitlist success stories out there 🙂

Which school was this for if you don't mind me asking?

Did you ever get off the waitlist at Indiana State University? I have an interview there next week and am worried about getting in.
