I am a non-trad student planning on applying to DO schools during this up coming application period. I have 4 very solid letters of recommendation, 2 from the 2 doctors I have shadowed (1 is a DO), 1 from my organic chemistry professer that I have known for 2 years now and have done alot of research with (I took OChem post undergrad), and also one from my supervisor at work (I work as a phlebotmist at a hospital and the letter is from the Laboratory Director whom I know well).
My question is, do I absolutely have to have another letter from a professor, being a non-trad student (4 years out of undergrad) I'm going to have a very hard time finding a professor to write me a letter. A medical technologist co-worker who I know well and is also the head of the health department in my city has offered to write me a letter if I need one more. I know if she writes it for me it will be much better and more meaningful then a letter from another professor.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
