Advice on IM rotation

Hello all! Still recovering from the rath of Step I but I will be hitting the IM wards July 1.

Anything I should know or do prior or during to maximize my experience? Suggestions on books to study from, etc?

Blueprints in Medicine is decent. I recommnend getting a question/answer book to study from too to prepare for shelf exam. Appleton/lange makes one. I used Harrison's q/a (very tough questions). There is alot of info in Medicine to learn, start slow with Blueprints and work your way up. Especially since it is your 1st rotation of third year.

Get Steven R. Polks book and read it from cover to cover before you start.
