Hey everyone,

I just received my mcat score and I got a 28 (9/10/9) which I am pretty happy about. But now I am a little unsure about my school list. I was expecting a lower score and was planning to apply to ~20 schools, but now I am hoping that I won't need to do that.

I just finished a summer course retake that will bump my cGPA from 3.4 to 3.45 and sGPA from 3.1 to 3.3. However, the final grade isn't posted so I can't have a transcript sent to AACOMAS yet.

As of now my application is verified, has the mcat score and my original GPA's. Is it safe for me to send the application to the rest of schools even though my GPA isn't updated? I would really like to start filling out secondaries (I have been pre-writing essays).

Also, my school list as follows, I'd appreciate any suggestions. I am a NY resident btw.

School list looks fine to me. I'd personally take out UNECOM and WCU but that's just me.

We have very similar numbers (except that your cGPA is a tad higher and my sGPA is a tad higher). I think DMU, UMDNJ, PCOM and CCOM are a reach. Also, I would add WVSOM. Otherwise, everything looks good (at least that what I'd like to think). Good luck!

Wvsom has heavy in state bias.....kcumb has so extra required courses.....lecom requires a DO letter, no md

Thanks for all of the input. Do you all think it is safe to submit now, before the retake is calculated in or should I just wait? I know that I am no longer early, and I really do not want to prolong this process anymore unless you all think that it would be in my best interest.
