I am really interested in applying to
DO schools - I have really fallen in
love with its holistic focus and approach
to prevention and wellness. I have a BA
in Psych, and am pursuing a Masters in
Public Health. I am also doing a postbac
to finish up pre-med requirements and
improve me not so good undergrad pre-med
GPA of 2.56. Do you think I still have
a shot at getting into a DO program if
I get my science GPA into the 3.0 range and
do well on my MCATs?

I think you have a chance if your post-bacc grades are super excellent 3.8 - 4.0GPA with enough credits to pull up your total undergrad GPA at least 3.0, MPH grades above 3.8GPA, and outstanding extracurriculars. Do several years of research or clinical experience. Great personal statement and
KICK @ss on MCAT!!

Yo -

I was in the same boat. With my masters, I managed to pull my GPA to a 3.0, and got a 26 on my MCAT.

I got in, and you can, too. Good luck to you. Any questions, you can email me.
