Well frns i am new to this forum and j got an idea that interview calls are coming . I dont know my fate but pls help me , gauge my status atleast , Ill be really thankful to help me .
My NBDE part1 (new format)is 89
NBDE part2 is 83
TOEFL iBt is 106
GPA 4
Have done 6 months chairside assistantship in Canada .
I am in India waiting for calls now.
I am very nervous .Please help

hey kappydent can u tell me how the new format was, is it easier or tougher than the earlier??

Well the new format had me stranded for first few minutes i started answering , overall very much different , less repeated questions and so its difficult , as time passes and people get some question banks on new format it will become easier. As per now its tough and ppl have got really low scores abt 6.3 lower than they wd with same marks in old one . SO , its dental schools to decide now how to compare the old with new one , Arthur Dugoni is considering this change.

How do you know that they consider this change?

Well i hope i make it , i have worked alot not mainly on studies but overall. I think i need luck as i might have applied a bit late to schools n that might cost me dearly.

The Arthur School has written down in their application , the required score for new pattern and old pattern to apply. So, they have in mind the difference.

The new format does not have 4 sections with separate scores ......what they say in their webside is that 80 of old format is equivalent with 80 in the new format.
I would realy like that they accept it is more difficult now
