Hey Guys and Gals,
First and foremost my question today is whether or not Career changing programs would consider my applications.
Background: I was a Bio and History major with a minor in Chemistry, however due to the limited growth opportunities both academically and in research, I decided to speed the process of graduating by declaring solely the History Major and minor in Bio. I have the three years of sciences done Science GPA of 3.38, Overall 3.34. I have the required courses, minus organic II (which i intend to take at a school near my house over the summer semester). In addition I havent taken my MCAT yet, plan to over the spring semester.
Did my hw kind of by looking on the AAMC website about career changers, and found the usual pick, Brywn Mawr, Scripps, and etc. They either state if you have a certain amount of coursework you wont be considered, or if you a science major you wont be considered. So back to the question, would i have a valid shot at applying or is it just a pointless application at that point?
I wanted to know, since I still plan on applying to regular academic enhancers so yes.
Thanks
