good program. used to be lots of FMGs but now things have changed because they're riding on the Ane$the$ia upward wave cycle. Everyone knows what goes up must come down....

dont know where ppl are getting this idea from. there was i believe one FMG in the last 3 years. The program is great. residents are very happy. the program is in lincoln park (very up and coming area). the only draw back is that it's not a university program. nevertheless, the program is great. it's a trauma 1 center in CHICAGO. what doese that mean? you get the same GSWs,trauma that cook county hospital has , except at a more efficient hospital. By the way masonic is a private hosp part of the 'advocate' system. this system is quite big in chicago and encompasses many area hospitals. from what i hear, making your numbers is not a problem. many residents from masonic have landed pain fellowships. the program is definitely solid.
