I'm a junior with a 2.9 GPA Neuroscience major....I'm trying to weigh out my options for what I should after I graduate in Fall 2010. I want to get into med school eventually, but I know that with a GPA this low, it's improbable. Anyone have any suggestions as to what route I should go about. I was thinking of doing a Masters in Neuro, but will that really help me in my application process later on?
I have a lot of research experience (3 years) with two fellowships, but I'm just not a good test taker. What are the best options for me? Should I work in a lab for a year? Should I work at a hospital for a year? Go to grad school? What will really make me a better candidate when I apply? Considering a low GPA, I know I will have to do stellar in whatever path I choose after undergrad.
Thanks...
