I was impressed with the feedback at LMU-DCOM, but lately have been frustrated. After speaking to someone there who said that files are reviewed Thursdays, and that mine had been reviewed that week, i was told that if chosen, you are called for an interview Friday. I waited, and then the next week was told by someone else that my file had not yet been reviewed, and that we are mailed letters, not called. the next week i was told again by the first person that my file had been reviewed, and i would be mailed something, it was on its way.. and then the next day heard again that it hasnt been reviewed yet, they are busy, and to be patient. i am annoyed, to say the least, because i am hoping i have a chance here and my file has been complete for about 3 weeks now. any encouraging words from anyone who has interviewed there? how did you find out? (phone call, email, snail mail) and what day of the week? grrr. thanks in advance.

I am so sorry to hear that. I think I am LMU-DCOM's biggest fan and so probably most of the positive feedback you read was mine. In my case I submitted my primary the day I found out about the school (9/16), faxed my supplemental on 9/18 and got a phone call for my interview on 9/20, which was the day they received my primary. I was one of the really early applicants, so I did not have to deal with them being overwhelmed with the application process. Anyway, I know that almost everyone was away at a conference for a week. It took me longer to get my letter of acceptance than it was supposed to, but that was because everyone was away. I have been really impressed with everything about the school. They are probably a bit overwhelmed with everything at the moment. If you get the opportunity to interview, I think you will also be really impressed with them. Who have you been talking to? Everyone is really nice down there. I would just try to be patient and hang in there. I know how stressful this whole process is. I wish you the best of luck with everything!

I have been complete since 2 days after it was announced on AACOMAS. They recieved my new MCAT score about a week ago, but I had already faxed them a copy of my official score the day after the scores came out 2 weeks ago. I am also just eager, not really disappointed, that I have not recieved word of my status yet. I called a few times since my new MCAT score came out, they just told me that they have been getting alot of stuff lately and that Jody would call me back, but he didnt ever call me. It is ok, I understand that I am not all that competitive, and I still love this school. They are busy, but yet still stay pretty organized with my stuff. I asked when they think they will stop doing interviews and the lady told me that it would probably be later than most of the schools because they started later. So this at least gives me some more hope that I may get an interview afterall. I wish they would call or send me something, I am going crazy!
