how do they expect us to catch up? lectures are recorded but labs aren't. Idek if the schools are at fault for having last minute dates or students that keep multiple As until last minute. probably both feeding each other. 🙁

If any of us get a late acceptance it’s a blessing but we can’t deny the amount of stress it would be to have to catch up on multiple material dense lectures 🙁 I hope a miracle happens for us

Whether this is the last time there is movement or not, I am thankful to have gone through this with you all and not alone. We had a taste of success and even though we might not have it right now, we now know the feeling and what it will take to take that next step. Whether its retake the MCAT or get more experience we know what it is going to take to get that acceptance call. This is all going to make for a great story one day when we tell people how we made it and became doctors.

Maybe because it's so close to the start of classes, they do. I'm just guessing here but, as an example, accountants frequently do that as April 15 approaches; maybe Admissions is similar.

Supposedly every year there’s 4-5 no shows which could create waitlist movement, I know it’s a long shot but I still have a little bit of hope

The question is whether the school decides to choose me if someone drops? We all know they reevaluate everyone on the waitlist when someone drops. I just want that to be me at this point somehow.

Knoxville alone has 344 at least that is the total from orientation today!

That seems like a crazy jump from last year, it was about 470 students last year I think

I got clarification, there’s a significant overlap between the two campuses because some students attended both or they attended the orientation for the other campus. It’s most likely 470 students in total
