I have a question pertaining to biochemistry. My institution only offers the class in the "Agricultural Biochemistry" Deptartment. The course description is something like:
AGBI 410 Introductory Biochemistry. 3 Hr. PR: 8 hr. g-chem, organic or equivalent. Intro to chemistry of cellular constituents (proteins, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, enzymes and coenzymes) and their metabolism in animals and plants.
Being that this is the only biochem course offered, will it meet the ADCOMM standards and satisfy MD prerequisites (for those places the require it)?
