Anyone using the Cerner one? How is it? I think it's called DAX.
What other AI scribes are people using?

The Insight web app records the conversation and outputs the note. I use an iPad for that. Then I also have the site logged in on the exam room computer. I review the output and make edits, then my scribe copies and pastes the outputs into the relevant sections.@drusso @callmeanesthesia what do you use to record the conversation?
That doesn’t sound truly autonomous and if you have to go back and pick and choose pasting of the output if you’re solo or have a scribe do it, seems to defeat some of the purpose 🤷🏻♂️. I tried the free version and it didn’t populate my templates well. It also absolutely annihilated battery on my phone. So was curious if people have gotten it to work better than I did.The Insight web app records the conversation and outputs the note. I use an iPad for that. I like it for new patients especially. Something like an MBB f/u I don’t bother. My MAs serve as scribes (and procedure room techs) so it’s not really an extra employee with my workflow. That said, I’ve liked it a lot because it does a generally good job of picking up details. It takes me maybe 1 minute to proofread and edit the output. Then I click copy all, then paste it into the HPI, delete the header and physical exam section (usually my scribe has entered that as I’m doing it, so I don’t have to speak all my findings aloud to the device), then cut the assessment and plan and paste it into that section. Probably 2-3 minutes total depending on how much editing I had to do, and the note is done. That doesn’t sound truly autonomous and if you have to go back and pick and choose pasting of the output if you’re solo or have a scribe do it, seems to defeat some of the purpose 🤷🏻♂️. Aprima. I don’t particularly recommend it though. They do have their own AI scribe but I trialed it and it was not very good. What emr do you use?
If I can't be completely done with the note after leaving the exam room these options don't sound that helpful. I'll just dictate as I normally do and be done with the note instead of proofing something later and copy pasting into various sections of the note. That doesn’t sound truly autonomous and if you have to go back and pick and choose pasting of the output if you’re solo or have a scribe do it, seems to defeat some of the purpose 🤷🏻♂️. I proofread and copy/paste it in before leaving the room. Takes about as long as dictating except I don’t have to come back and proofread and sign the dictation later (a cumbersome process in our EMR). The note is done and charges submitted before I leave the room. I use a separate iPad that I keep plugged in to avoid draining the battery on my phone. If I can't be completely done with the note after leaving the exam room these options don't sound that helpful. do you create a written template? Could you share the dot phrase? Can it copy forward the old note and then add to it?DAX co-pilot via Epic. Pretty awesome
I tried this and to be honest it was way too clunky for me.![]()

I am very interested in this as well. Not a fan of eCW and anything that can make me more efficient is welcomed.bringing this thread back. One of my friend uses Heidi and he said it changed the game. Spends no time at all doing notes.
Unfortunately it doesn’t incorporate with ECW. Does anyone use a software or scribe that integrates with ECW?
