Somewhat 'technical' question for all current/former Air Force Flight Surgeons. In the process of joining the Air Force Reserves either as a 'flight surgeon' or 'internal medicine'. I'm on the 'blind as a bat' side with my eyes to begin with (-4.5 and -5.75) ... but on top of that it appears that I have no depth perception at all ... I mean I did not only fail that 'five circle' test at MEPS ... we ended up aborting it as I did not appreciate any difference at all and would just have been guessing... - I assume there are potential additional tests, but is this situation 'waiverable' at all for the 'flight surgeon physical'? What about for the 'operational support flyer' class? Thanks so much!
