Dear docs,
I plan to study medicine in Egypt. I wanted to ask all students who entered either private or public med school what did you like or dislike about your school? Did you need private tutoring? How well were the labs equiped? Those who took the usmle, did your score well from you first try?
Those who entered with the american diploma, what s.a.t. Scores allowed you admissions into your school?
Please, any little info helps

well, the education here is poor. public universities teach in arabic, eventhough the material is in english, but lectures and labs are taught in arabic. If you're coming from america you'll have a hard time understanding the scientific material. Labs suck big time, class is like 800-1000+.

if u need anything, dont hesitate!

MUST is a good university that proved itself among private and public universities and its teaching staff is from Ain Shams and Cairo university and its always improving its services and teaching techniques.
Private tutoring depends on ur ability of studying and understanding subjects but it helps actually, and its not necessary....medical labs are well equipped....the number if students is gettin limited as admission process got tough last year....concerning USMLE i dunno anyone from our uni who applied but there r people who did,but in the end depends on ur study for it(not on uni..since USMLE need special preparation)
concerning SAT 1 and SAT 2 scores check university website:www.must.edu.eg
