Hey Tissy, I am very happy for you because you deserve it.

It doesn't matter if your scores are average. This is an example that if you are a bright applicant, you will shine no matter what. Now go and do great on those interviews! 😀

sorry, i ask that question because there are a bunch of folks with 20+ dat and 3.5+ GPA got rejected from temple and columbia. Some schools don't even care to read your essay or EC before they send out interviews. HOw do I know? they were reading my essays and ec as they were flipping through my application during the interviews...and the LORs.

I'm pretty sure the adcoms read the essays as the interviews I had so far mentioned stuff in my application. With those types of interviewers, hopefully they can't ask anything hard. hi "dude"! you're missing the point...
my point is some school send out interviews base solely on stats and race... they only start to look at your ec, essay, and the rest "during" your interview. Hence, your essays and ec might not be the factors that get you your interviews.

Obviously they consider things other than pure numbers when deciding on who to interview. There are a lot of people with better numbers than Tissy who won't be making the NYC trip. But you know what that means, Tissy? YOU are the complete package and we're all really pulling for you. You'll do great!

I also wanted to say that I have average scores 17/19/19 and got an interview yesterday! My gpa is a little higher 3.83, but it shows that there is hope and that not all schools look at your DAT to evaluate a whole person's package.

Tissy, awesome job! Im sure you will get in! Good luck and I didnt want to hijack your thread, only put more inspiration out there!
