I know a lot of pre-dental students come on here to ask for advice so im going to give it a shot.Im currently attending FIU and holding a 3.2 GPA and have not taken 1 science class.I know it was stupid of me but i left all my science classes for last.I'm 19 so age is basically my only advantage i see as of right now to have a shot at a dental school.What courses do you guys recommend for me to take?what science courses should i solely focus on?and what other things should i do to increase my chances in the future? thanks 👍

Get more As, take General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, General Biology, Genetics, Evolutionary Biology, Developmental Biology, Microbiology, some labs, some other electives, anatomy is always good, take physics, and you can throw some other ones in there as well. After or during your pre-reqs, start studying for DAT. To increase you chances, research, shadow, volunteer, rinse and repeat. Then write your personal statement and apply. There are some things in the middle as well.

You forgot to tell us what year that you are.
Also, how is 19 an advantage? (I guess that depends on what year you are also) 🙂

well by advantage i meant that i think im on good timing 🙄.
Right now its my beginning of my second year.Keep the feedback coming guys..
