I applied kind of late and I just got an email from Indiana saying that they had already filled their out-of-state interview quota but that I could still go for an alternate list interview. My question to anyone who wants to respond is this: is it worth it to spend time and money to go to an interview knowing that I will only be placed on the alternate list?

Sorry about this repeat thread but I am still interested in what others have done in this situation!

Hehe, I just made another post about this a little earlier. I just told them to go ahead and process my application. I'm goingg to cross my fingers and hope for the best. 🙂

If you have the time and money, go for it. Sometime the list can move rather quickly if other people who were accepted chooses another school. Otherwise, if money is tight and since you already know your app is good enough for an interview you could apply again early next year assuming you don't get into any other schools this cycle. Good luck.
