Hey to anyone out there that's taken the Altius practice exams! I recently purchased the 10 Test bundle for $99 and had some questions: how well/poorly did you do on ALT FLs compared to NS or ExamCrackers? Compared to the real MCAT (if you've taken it)? I've read that some people found it similar to AAMC and the real MCAT and some say the CARS is off and the Psych sections are more experimental. Any info would be appreciated! Also, the website (MCAT Practice Exams | Altius) says you have unlimited attempts on their exams but I only see that I have 4 attempts - did any of you have the same problem?

I took all 10 of the Altius practice tests, and on average I got 513. Their CP and BB are spot on, but their CARS is definitely off from AAMC materials and the actual test. Their Psychology section is good but contains lots of obscure definitions that you had never even heard of. My scores would be something like (130/126/131/127). On the actual test, I got 520 (131/128/130/131).

Thank you for the post. What did you find to be a helpful resource (content + practice) for the PS section?

I found KA videos and writing my own notes very helpful. Also, doing KA problems before doing any practice test really helped me set my thinking process for P/S section. This may not apply to you, but my gf has a B.S. in psychology, so she helped me understand abstract theories and taught me how to read psychology papers efficiently. Most importantly, doing AAMC section banks and memorizing their explanations were the key.
