Hey guys,

I had a quick question. For verbal, I always do good on all of the passages, but then there is always one passage that I only get 1 right on, and another that I get 2-3 wrong, and this really hurts my score badly.

Do you guys have any advice on how to do consistently good on all of the passages?

Thanks!

I assume those passages are the ones that are obscure and have the tough language and vocab. You can usually tell if that kind of passage is coming just by the words they use and the topic they are discussing. You want to see if it is the TOPIC that is hard to understand or if the QUESTIONS are tricking you up, that matters a lot as well.

If you know that type of passage is coming, take a deep breath and spend extra time on it. Look at each sentence and try to see how it pertains to the main idea. Maybe you will have to write down notes or something as you write. The important thing is to just try something new and see if it works.
