for the application process?

1. Fill out AADSAS
2. Ask school to send out official transcript to AADSAS with grades from this last semester included (around 3rd or 4th week of May, approx. 1-2 weeks after school has let out..since final grades won't be turned in until then)
3. Ask ADA to send out DAT scores to schools directly --> I took the test a year ago--should I call up schools that shoudl already have my scores and ask them if they started a file for me last year, or should i just resend the scores to the 5 schools i chose when i first took the DAT as well as the other schools im applying to?
4. ALso, since it takes 4 weeks (according to some) for the DAT score to get in, should I turn it in at the begining of May so it arrives there with my application or do I just submit DAT scores on the same date I hit submit on my AADSAS app?
5. How do I submit the fees/other app materials that schools ask for? Do I mail those separately by snail mail and if so, how early should I do it? Before or after I submit my AADSAS?

Could someone please post a timeline of what is the best sequence of things to do, if I am goign to be ready ON MAY 15th with all my information and just need to know a timeline for submissions?

1. fill it out and submit as early as possible

2. i would ask the schools to send your transcripts around the time you are filling out your application. im not sure what AADSAS will do if they get your transcripts early you did not submit your application yet. they might just hold on to it. you can possibly ask the schools earlier since schools take time to process your transcripts. im not sure exactly how much earlier.

3. you can also send your DATs around the time you fill out your AADSAS. your DATs will get to the schools early because AADSAS takes 4 weeks to verify your GPA. i dont think you need to resend the 5. i took my DATs 9/29/06 and submitted my application 6/1/07. i picked 5 when i registered for the DAT and i dont remember resending it to those 5.

4. 4 weeks for DAT scores to get in? i never heard of this. DAT scores go directly to the schools. doesnt go to AADSAS. i dont think the ADEA will take 4 weeks to send your DATs to schools. i remember them being pretty fast.

5. the "processing fee" the school wants is usually like 50 bucks. each school is different you will have to write a check for each school and send it to them personally. some schools also want other stuff to be sent to them. you should check out each schools website and see what they want. you can send this after you submit your AADSAS.

there might be difference between 08 cycle and 09 cycle. worst comes to worst you can just call AADSAS and ask them directly.

Assume that you have a fresh slate at each school and re-send them to every single school.

Either or? I don't really know/remember.

I'd do it at the same time you submit, and that is by snail mail.

I would get the transcripts sent when you are finishing up the application. The application gets sent electronically so AADSAS gets it immediately. Depending on schools it could take 2 to 3 days to get the request processed by the schools that you request the transcripts and then get mailed to AADSAS.
