As other users asked I expose here my situation:

I'm a foreign ms who started studying for step in april. I did a lot of books and FA once and ended UW for the first time with a cummulative of 53% and ended my study with a 214 on UWSA 1.

But examinations in my medical school came and I took a 2 week vacation period, so I stoped for about 1 month and a half. I scheduled examination for November 3rd and started studying again 3 days ago with a diagnostic kaplan test of 45%. I plan to end kaplan, read FA as many times as I can (3 in minimum) do the DIT program and do UW once more. Do you think I can get a 230?

Thanks a lot, please tell me now if I must stop or continue.

From now till nov 3. is a long time to study, you should be able to get whatever score you are capable of as long as you study hard. Good luck.

Hi. Am also a FMG. And got over with step 1 horror yesterday. Read my advice in experience thread. Might help you a little. Best of luck.

I red your post obviously you had a stronger background.. But I think that with 10 weeks dedicated studying it might be possible. Too bad I had my medical school examinations. thank you both for your words, I'll study hard!

Obviously it's much later now, but I couldn't imagine you less doomed.

You'd be surprised how fast relearning is compared to the first time around.
