My cGPAs 3.26 and sgpa 3.3 mcat 501. Decent ecs. DO lor, MDlor, 2 faculties, my clinical jobs are pharm tech and in house caregiver hours. Also some as crisis text line counselor.

I submitted some secondaries (18) end of July and got them back pretty soon. But at that time I was still juggling getting lor’s. I'm applying to total 30 schools and currently only like 9 secondaries out of 18 I've submitted and like 12 more primaries still to go thankfully some of them don't have secondaries. Ive heard the Do cycle is long but I'm getting worried on my position rn with these secondaries and primaries still not in.

I do have two interviews so far now though thankfully but not from my top choices.

For your DO schools, keep going.

Hi Goro, my cycle is going well, thank you for your advice and reassurance. I've been wrestling with another decision and would love your insight once more. I currently have 7 interviews, 2 in December, one of which is in person, and 4 in January. LECOM was asynchronous, which I completed last week. My frustration now is that I still have 8 secondaries left (not first choices, clearly), of which I'm thinking of just not doing. My family also has a trip planned this December, which I need to be ready for, and I am also working and starting interview prep. It's a lot, and neuroticism isn't letting me completely drop it alone, so I would love someone else's advice.

It's OK to hold off on more secondaries. You're doing great!
Good luck!

You can stop. Focus on your interviews.
