Hello guys!

I was hoping to reflect with you guys where I am at after two months of studying. I started early May and am taking the test in August 31st. I am not sure if I am in a good place or not because of the strong deflation of 3rd party tests so I was hoping for some advice. I can provide more info if needed, but for now, Ill show you guys my FLs so far.

Kaplan 1: 124/125/123/122 --> 494
Kaplan 2: 126/126/124/127 --> 503
Kaplan 3: 124/ 127/123/ 124 --> 498
TPR DEMO: 122/125/127/128 --> 499
TPR 1: 125/125/127/128 --> 505
TPR 2: 122/124/127/127 --> 500
TPR 3: 125/127/125/126 --> 503

I still plan to to NS 1-4 as well as the AAMC material obviously. I have a pretty intricate system for reviewing my tests, so I feel confident that I am learning from my mistakes, but they just aren't showing in my FLs. So essentially, should I have a rigorous re-imagining of my study technique, or am I fine?

Thanks for taking the time to help me out if you do!

Hard to say without seeing your aamc fl scores. I don’t think third party exam scores are relevant to mcat prediction, rather they are to be used as your own personal content review tool. What I mean is, these third party exam scores you get shouldn’t have much weight put into them cuz usually they’re not very aamc like and if you instead use the exams to focus on why you missed a question or what area you’re weak in and study that then it becomes useful.

I think 2 months away from ur exam u have plenty of time to brush up on content and u can hit 510+

Literally skip next step and hop on the AAMC practice material. Taking so many full lengths will yield diminishing returns as the 3rd party question style is nowhere close to AAMC style - and 2 months out you need to study the style, not the material.

Yeah thats exactly how I am using them. They have been great in pointing out my weaknesses and I will keep that in mind. Thanks for the reply!
