So basically I'm taking my COMLEX step 1 next wk.
I started studying for it right after x-mas and done w/1st pass of FA. I've done 1000 UWorld qbank and 1% COMQs total. In both qbanks, I've reached 55% Avg.
Took COMSAE B = 392 COMSAE C = 401

I have not done any additional studying like Goljan, pathoma, DIT. It's all qbanks and FA reading. Oh.. and Savarese half way....

Yes, I know I haven't put best food fwd but at this point my biggest weakness is pathology and pharm. For both I've put behind lots of time and effort and my confidence is gradually increasing.

At this point, miraculously I feel fine, less stressed out and keeping it all positive. When I look at those #s and lack of qbank question effort.... there is a part of me says that this is not enough. But if I delay the exam it'll be on July 7th and by that point my rotation has already started.
I don't want to go through the dean and delay the rotation.
I do have a gut feeling that I'll pass the COMLEX .... even if I get 410 I'll be happy... I'm not expecting more than to just pass...

Am I too crazy to take the upcoming exam.... it's next thus... idk if I should go w/my gut feeling... i just want to pass but idk how to place myself w/comsae and qbanks avg

I'm not the best person to give advice but I say study hardcore for the next week and do it. I think ppl here are all overachievers so when ppl like us just want to pass many ppl don't understand.

Hey I am taking the COMLEX.

If you feel like you can push back the test until July 7th and put in two more weeks of hard time then you should go ahead an do it. It will be hard if you postpone it but it can be done.

COMSAE A= little easier than the others

COMSAE B= right on track

COMSAE C= hardrest

that is just an estimation from word of mouth from people over years.

I am taking mine in 5 days, June 18th.

I did PATHOMA and I thought it was the strongest helper to my pathology...I am still weak in some areas.

First off stop UWORLD questions unless you are taking USMLE. Finish COMBANK.

You have to understand COMLEX is more of a clinical kind of test unlike USMLE which is more detail based. So you need to get into the habit of doing more COMBANK.

Secondly at this point you should be doing 100 questions a day easily. Since time is of constraint I advice reviewing the wrong ones and the one you guessed on and got right.

Don't shoot for passing, shoot to do well no matter how are you doing on any exam that kind of attitude can hinder you believe me I speak from experience haha.

It is possible to improve your COMLEX score by 20-30 in this week if you put in the effort... I have done this on my recent COMSAE's so I can also kind of speak for that. And I just shooting to do my best.

Just do questions, read FA the pathology if your the weakest in those areas. HIT micro hard last few days. OMM try to do SAVARSE flashcards somewhere online sure you can find some.

I think you can do it but my school would have had us push it back a little, its up to you honestly.

Put in the effort and do your personal best!!!

yes.. i'm working my ass off this wk and aiming for the best. 100qs per day is a good advise. I also find comsae qs are fair and a bit easier.. well.. that's what i need to boost up my confidence.
I won't delay the exam as I'm not a quitter... I'll be happy w/400+ score as I'm planning to take USMLE in future anyways as the back up....

Pipe dream you're right abt overachievers and big gunners on this forum. Bunch of idiots... with no sense of life... sometimes an avg Joe is what a pt wants to see rather than 700+ usmle arrogant jerk
