So basically, i'm in my last semester of my masters program at rutgers. I took a PhD level course and we just got our final grade. I ended up with a B+ which many of you know is a 3.333. So out of the 33 credits, this has dropped my gpa by around 0.5 and i will be graduating with 3.45. This program was an SMP program and was very rigorous as i took classes with dental/medical students and also did research. Now i don't know what my chances are but my top choice is NYU and i spoke to people who got into NYU dental from this program and they mentioned that anything above a 3.4 is competitive.
What are my chances? Kind of freaking out
I would love to hear some feedback
Thank you

Can’t say too much when you’ve only posted your SMP gpa. DAT scores? ECs? Quality LORs? Undergraduate gpa?

Writing the DAT this summer, ECs are pretty solid - have research/lab experience at my SMP and worked as a social worker after undergrad, quality LORs from my physics professor in undergrad, pathology professor and regenerative medicine professor in SMP and also the professor who i did research with, and one from my dentist and a few more. undergrad GPA was around 2.8

Agree with the post above, just do well on the DAT and you’ll be fine

I hope you meant .05? I don't see how a single B+ in a class even in 33 credits brings you down .5, meaning you went from 3.95 to 3.45.
Either way, when your GPA is cemented, a 3.45 isn't hell. Paired with the research and experience you got during your program, you just need to sell it really well during interviews. Study your heart out for the DAT and I think you should be fine, best of luck!
