This is my second year first semester (I am 1 semester behind because of personal reason)

I just realized that my EC's are not quite good.

I have KUSA(korean undergrad student assoc.), Anybodys crew(dance team)
Its because I thought I was in some others as well, but I didnt pay the membership fee yet, so they basically kicked me out.

I have 1 year and 4 months of pharmacy tech experience.

Am I too late to start anything right now? Wouldnt they think wierd if I start organizations all sudden?

Heh, when I saw the title of the thread and clicked on it, I was thinking you were about to graduate in June!

Yeah, plennnnty of time. It's not too late. You have technician experience, that's a huge plus already. Maybe grab some volunteering hours somewhere - You have experience in a pharm., so even a soup kitchen would look great on your CV/app.

Honestly, student assoc. don't mean a whole lot unless you're a leader. Anyone can pay $70 dues and call themselves a member of something, that doesn't take anything special. Being elected/appointed to a leadership position does, so if you are gunning for that, now's the time to start... although honestly if I was in your place, not knowing your grades atm, I'd just try to get some community service hours. I don't think you need to pursue pharmacy volunteering at all since you're a tech/were a tech.

Being a member of organizations is useless - its what you DO in those organizations that matters. Its far better to be a member of two organizations and accomplish much than spread yourself thin and be a part of six and do functionally nothing but show up to meetings. I can promise you that if I saw an application with a random assortment of organizations without and description of depth of participation, I would probably not even consider that the applicant has done any extracurriculars. Showing up to meetings is not "extracurricular"
