Well it is now almost mid-July and I have not yet finished my application yet. This is where I am at:

Shadowing: Not started but will hopefully have done by the time school starts(Aug 24)
Essay: Done
Transcripts: Sent in
Evaluations: Haven't asked any professors yet....
DAT: July 28th

I go to a school where I am about 1 of 4 Pre-dent students so there hasn't been many resources for me to use. Am I too late to be applying for this year or not....???

Please give me good news....🙁

I did the same thing and it worked out. You're not too late. Just get everything in ASAP. As for the dentist letter, it can be submitted late August along with secondaries and other recommendation letters and it's still ok. Just make sure to submit AADSAS app right now since it takes ~7 weeks to get it processed.

No need to panic at all. I didn't finish my shadowing until september, and I didn't hand in my application until October 8. I still got into my first choice school, and a couple of others.

While it makes the process much less stressful if you hand in your app earlier, you can still get in if the app is handed in later.

you better hurry up and ask profs for letters though. It can take a couple months, depending on the prof.
