So I just got an E-mail from Edinburgh this morning, but it was extremely ambiguous! Did anyone else get this E-mail? The E-mail said "I am delighted to let you know that our Admissions Committee here at The University of Edinburgh consider you to be eligible for both the 4-year and the 5-year BVM&S programme", then it went on to describe both programs and ended with "If you could let me know your preference as soon as possible, we can then proceed with making you a formal offer." Maybe I'm just overanalyzing, but does this mean they're accepting me or that I'm just eligible to apply to both programs?

Thanks!

Reply to the program you want and then maybe you'll have an answer real soon!!

Sounds like you just got accepted, congrats.

Sounds to me like it is an acceptance and they are giving you the option of attending for the normal 5 year program or the accelerated 4-year program.

Congratulations!

Hooray!!
I think you were accepted. I received an e-mail from them today too. It was similar, but they accepted me into the 4 year program. Sounds like you can choose your preference, Awesome!! Congrats, maybe I'll see you there. If you send me a PM I'll send you my letter so you can compare the two of them.

Sounds pretty unambiguous to me. Of course, I never quite believed anything till I had an offer letter in my hand (and even then I worried!), but it sounds like they just want to know which program to accept you to. Congratulations!

It sounds like an acceptance to me! Let us know when you find out😀

Sounds like you are accepted to both....maybe you did not distinguish that you wanted to apply to the GEP? Pretty much if you are accepted to GEP, i believe if you wanted to do the 5 year, it is a possibility.

Either way, CONGRATS!
