i dont get it, doesnt the BCPS have an ambulatory care section as it is? does this make the exam on the small amount of chapter area.

Interesting. People really love talking about am-care, or MTM, or whatever you want to call it. Seems to be the new buzzterm.

Question: Is the primary barrier to pharmacist-run MTM really the lack of professional certification?



Yes, BCPS covers diabetes, asthma, lipid/cholesterol management, and a few other things. Probably about 30-40 questions out of 200. If the entire test is going to be over this stuff, better brush up on some guidelines!

kinda like the psych cert, the psych chapter is pretty large in the review notes.
