Are there any disadvantages to sending in your AMCAS on the first day, aka June 1? Some people warned me about the possibility of system errors early on and told me to wait a few days, but I was thinking that AAMC should have figured out the kinks of the system already. Any experience from last year? A few days probably won't make a difference, but I just wanted to know. Thanks.

. Sorry double post.

I don't think it's super important to get it in right on June 1st. You have to wait to get verified anyway. If you submit early (like within the first week), you will be verified pretty quick. Last year my friends and I all submitted at different times during the first two weeks, from June first to like June 10th, and all of us were verified within a few days of each other.

Great. Thanks a bunch!
