Hello SDN,

I was wondering where on the AMCAS application should I place my academic credentials. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and In Honoribus from my school's honors college. As of now, I have my degree listed on the AMCAS application as Bachelors of Science in Honoribus, Summa Cum Laude. Would this be appropriate? It is listed on my official transcript that way. Where else would you place this information? I already have my work and activities maxed out with other essential information about myself. Thanks!

Honoribus and summa cum laude are honors, not academic credentials.

You could add it to an Awards/Honors space in the Activities section if you have one, but if space is tight, it won't hurt to leave it out, as your GPAs speak for themselves.

Unfortunately my activities list is full. Thank you for the response!

And therefore should be put in the honors section. If the OP has already filled the 15 ECs up, start editing something out
I believe all 15 of my activities are essential but I do have a church/religious affiliation related extracurricular that I am unsure if schools will write me off immediately for having. Would it be better to indicate Summa Cum Laude and In Honoribus instead? I feel that those are two very common honors that many students applying receive. Thoughts?
