I input all my classes and my cGPA was .3 lower than what I expected. But, I put all my classes in as they fit in the excel sheet, to the point that in the column at the bottom for senior GPA none of the spots were included.

My path is very non-trad, I spent a lot of time at a CC getting my ADN in nursing. So i'm not actually sure how to designate when I changed from a freshman to sophmore/junior/senior. But I am looking now and apparently this effects the "quality points" which I might be able to attribute to my GPA discrepency.

Can anyone give me advice on how to designate my classes? I'm using the excel GPA sheet found here http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/amcas-gpa-calculator-revised.590424/

Ok I found this https://services.aamc.org/AMCAS2_2010/WebApp/Help/WebHelp/Course_Work_Year_in_School.htm
Can anyone account for it's accuracy?

This can get super funky for non-trads. Due to an old incomplete 4-year degree that I quit in senior year back then, all the classes from my subsequent associate's and my entire new bachelor's degree were all counted as 'Senior year'. It looked ridiculous on paper. But that's just how it goes. 🙂 They'll be able to see a more complete breakdown when you submit, so don't worry about it. Just plug in like the instructions say.
