I went to college (Freshman and Sophomore years) at a university in United Kingdom before transferring back to a university in USA this past Autumn.
However, since the U.K. grading system bares no resemblance to the American one, I am wondering how AMCAS will convert my grades, how they will be weighted, the semester hours that each course will be assigned, and the quality points that will be given? All of the courses that I took during my first two years there are science related. Each year consisted of two semesters with four classes per semester (so 16 classes for both years).
If anyone has any information about this I would REALLY REALLY appreciate it as I feel completely lost right now! I did email them...but I am not sure how good they are about replying.
Thanks for your time and happy holidays!
