If I take 4 classes and get straight As in them this Fall Quarter, will that help me for this cycle?

If you have already submitted your AMCAS, then probably not.

What if submit right before the December deadlines? At my school the quarter ends right before Dec. 15 I retook the MCAT, my previous score was 32S, I'm hoping to increase my biosci score and maybe get a 34.+

Yeah, in order for these grades to show up on your AMCAS application and be verified by your school transcript, you would have to wait until the end of your Fall 2006 semester to submit your AMCAS application, which is EXTREMELY LATE. So it may boost your GPA, but you won't get in because already the deadlines for most schools has expired.

Assuming you have a lot of units from all the classes you have taken and you have a GPA around 3.5, a quarter's worth of units at a 4.0 would only increase your GPA marginally. You need many quarters at a 4.0 to make a notable difference. I doubt schools would look into that. However, if you have a lower GPA, a 4.0 would probably reflect well since it might show the upward trend in your GPAs, which you could explain in your personal statement, and it should boost your GPA more so.

Why did you retake? Also, "December deadlines" is a misnomer. If you're submitting AMCAS in Dec., you're applying for waitlists.

i personally would have submitted that 32 a while ago and not had to worry about turning in the amcas so late. its not too late now. but december would be. you could always send transcipts later to update your schools on how your doing.

True that. Apply now, send updates later if you think it is worth it.

I'm pretty sure that a 32S in August beats a 34+ in December every time.
