Alright, so here's my situation. I want to be able to submit my 2010 AMCAS application as soon as possible. (I am a re-applicant and believe that my chances were hurt slightly by submitting late)

However, I'm planning on retaking the MCAT on July 2, which means the scores won't be released until around August 4th. If I submit the AMCAS application in early May, will they automatically send my updated MCAT scores to the medicals schools to which I am applying? Thanks!

Yes. However, the earliest you can submit is early June FYI. The application does open in May though. Also, make sure you answer "Yes" when the application asks if you are taking the MCAT again.

Right, right. I meant to say, "submit the AMCAS application in early June."

Yes, your AMCAS will be updated with your new scores when they come in. Since you are retaking, most schools won't look at your file until the new scores are added.
