The title pretty much says it all. I've already emailed them, but I was hoping for some insight on how much this will delay/prevent receiving secondaries. Any advice or experience you've had would be great!

EDIT: App has already been processed too.

I don't think this will delay your app, since you've already been processed and you've already notified them, you'll be fine. Even if the schools screen for secondaries, I don't think that's a problem. When they reach your app, they'll see your email, and obviously see you're a first time applicant, and just go from there.
I would just call the office though to follow up, especially since adcoms are probably being bombarded with emails this time of year and you don't want your email to be lost with the others. Call to confirm and ask if there is anything else you need to do (like notifying AAMC so that it's also changed on your AMCAS on their end).

Wow, thanks so much for the speedy reply (I'm pretty heavily freaking out)! I already called AMCAS, but the person I spoke to said he couldn't change my app and that I should notify the specific schools. I guess I am just slightly worried about the potential screening out of reapplicants and the chance that this correction won't be seen by them (whether it's made by email or by a 'note' on the app), but hopefully these schools will check my name/AMCAS ID against their records and see that I'm a new applicant? That might be wishful thinking though.
