Oh man! I was reviewing my verified AMCAS application and I realized that I entered 1150 General Chemistry I, 1160 General Chemistry I. I should have written 1160 General Chemistry II. I am not feeling particularly great about this oversight! I contacted AMCAS and they will not change it. Any thoughts about how to handle this? I am thinking that I will write a brief email to each school alerting them to the error. I'm worried that this mistake will make me look incompetent to schools 🙁

Thank you for taking the time to read this!!

I'd be surprised if a single adcom noticed the discrepancy, and I'm certain anyone who did notice would be intelligent enough to figure out out. You stand to lose more by displaying neuroticism. Leave it be.

Thank you for your response! You make an excellent point which also applies as a general reminder- temper the neuroticism.

It's a nerve-wracking time and some level of neuroticism is expected. Don't let it get the better of you. Good luck with the application cycle!
