D'oh. That used to say June 5, didn't it? <sigh> Oh well...at least we can check our MCATs online by that time, right? 🙄

What the hell! I guess it is good because i am not anywhere near being done but I wonder what the deal is....hopefully they are pushing it back so they can get rid of any technical problems they may be having.

As someone who went through the process last year, all I can say is get used to it. I'm not trying to be mean or anything here, but this is only the second year of the online app. Its still going to have bugs. Its only, what, 5 days? Last year it was 3 weeks from the date they originally gave!!

hehe, i see they haven't changed things since last year =)

having worked on the texas application last year, i think the aamc should learn from the texas app... sure the texas apps are crude, but at least they get the job done.

Im kind of glad since that will be enough time to finish up my personal statement. The 12th is the latest...I don't think i want it pushed to july though..thats pushing it a bit 🙄

I'm glad. More time to work on the PS. Plus, I get to see my MCAT scores before the 1st day of submission (keeping my fingers crossed).

I heard my adv say that before AMCAS went online, one of the big honcho guys left his job. He was one of the people in charge of the bug problems last year. Apparently this is a sign of what is to come.... 🙄

Here we go again

Good for me, now I have more time to work on my PS like some of you other people... 😀

Hey, it's good for all of us re-applicants on hold lists! Gives me another 5 days to hope I get in somewhere before I have to shell out more money to AMCAS.

I for one am hoping they push it back further. 🙂

Wait... anybody consider that they might be doing this so that students have a chance to see their MCAT scores before they apply? That would be really nice of them... a bit toooo nice... if you know what I mean.... 😎

I think it's so they can get more students to dish out the extra $15 to see their scores a bit earlier early and submit earlier.
