On the AMCAS application, space is given for:
- 10. Extracurricular, Community, and Avocational Activities:

and

- 11. Chronological Post-Secondary History, Including Volunteer, Part-Time and Full-Time Employment

My question is, do I include things such as volunteering in the community under both sections?

Do they only want things listed once? I know this may seem trivial, but I'd like to get it right the first time. Thanks!

Don't double list things. However, if you have more extracurriculars than will fit in the first space, drop them down to number 11 below. Likewise, with the honors/awards section - see how it all fits best. For example, if you were awarded a competitive internship to community service - it could fit in any of the three boxes on the first page. Ask someone to take a look at a draft for you if you need help.
