I'm "in line to begin the verification process".

Does that mean that my 4-6 weeks to get verified doesn't start until I've actually begun the verification process?

How long did people have to wait in line?

There are several threads already started about this, including another one on the first page of posts. Try to look for those before starting new threads.

I am also active and in line for verification. The general consensus is that you are in the 4-6 week period now, and then the verification process lasts a variable amount of time depending on the complexity of your application (multiple transcripts, etc.)
